Time really does fly. Even though the year is already well underway, it still feels right to say: Happy New Year.

The weeks with the puppies passed incredibly fast. Eight weeks suddenly became twelve, and today, January 16th, the litter is officially 12 weeks old.

We are very pleased with how the puppies have developed so far. They are social and confident, with some individual differences. The three brown puppies are especially outgoing, while the two black ones are a bit more cautious by nature — thoughtful rather than fearful.

Four out of five puppies have now moved to their new homes.

The first to leave was Grimm Ebonvale, now called Romle, who lives on the west coast of Norway. Next was Rowena Mist, now Selma, who has moved to Switzerland. Then it was Ember Bates, who kept the name Ember and now lives on a farm with cattle in the north-western part of Norway.

On New Year’s Eve, we travelled to Gardermoen airport for Autumn Hollow, now better known as Lola, who flew to Finland with her new owner. Lola and Morticia Vale (now called Motte) spent several hours at the airport, experiencing unfamiliar sounds, smells, and environments — excellent real-life socialisation.

Motte will remain with us for a little while longer and will travel to Germany with her new family in early March. During this period, she will join us in everyday situations to build confidence and environmental security. She is somewhat reserved and prefers staying close to people she knows, but she is also curious and willing to explore. With patient and appropriate training, we are confident she will handle the world very well.
